Moving on from the basic YogaPilates Fusion this class is based, as all Body and Balance classes are, on my 10 Key Principles and flows from Warm Up which includes posture awareness and core acquisition to Warrior 1 and 2 poses, downward facing dog into balance, breathe and focus. This transitions to the cardio section with hand weights and aspects of HIIT to work all major muscle groups and increase cardio fitness, we then move to the floor for a strong core, lengthening and stretching of muscles, through side lifts, spine twists, bridges, alternate leg and arm lifts both prone and supine, elastic band work for shoulders, triceps and biceps, hamstrings and hip stretches to finish with Yoga Nidra breathe and intentions for a complete Mind Body and Balanced workout.
